What
Does all the Jargon Mean?
When
people have been around computers and the internet for
a while, they start using new words which mean absolutely
nothing to someone who's never even turned a computer
on.
If
you're not sure of a term you've heard somewhere, contact
us on our handy form and we'll get a personal reply
back to you within one working day.
But
check out this chart first . . . it explains a few of
the common terms.

IT MEANS |

checking out websites. |
| Email |

from your site with others by allowing them
to access parts of your site “anonymously” |
| Webstats |
Webstats
allow the website owner to see who’s been to their
site, where they were from, what pages they visited,
what browser they were using etc. It helps them
with their marketing and customer targeting, if
that's what they are interested in. |

called MS Frontpage. It requires certain files
to be available on a website. They are called
Frontpage extensions. |
