Pay Per Click marketing
Pay-per-click marketing is a
marketing system on the Web where advertisers buy key
words relevant to their product or services.
They then include those words
in special display ads which appear in search engine
results. For example, if I bought the word "iPod"
and put it in an ad linked to a search engine, every
time someone searched for iPod in the search engine,
my ad would be right there next to the search results.
Every time someone then clicked
on my ad, they would be brought to my website which
sells iPods. And I would pay for that click through.
Which of course is why it's called "pay-per-click"
advertising.
This is a more interactive,
results-oriented method compared to paying for just
the placement of a banner ad on a Web page regardless
if anyone clicks on it.
Pay-per-click search engines,
such as Google, Overture, FindWhat.com and 7Search.com,
are search sites that return the results of a search
based on how much the advertiser bid for placement.
The advertiser that bids the
most gets its advert to appear first in the results
list; the second-highest appears second, and so on.
Pay Per Click marketing, via
such vehicles as Google AdWords or Overture, is a tremendous
way to quickly attract new visitors to a web site.
Pay-Per-Click is a fantastic
way to get visitors to your site. It's also a fantastic
way to spend thousands and get no result if you don't
know what you're doing. Because
we do know what we're doing you can
expect the best results possible as we cover every facet
of the campaign from helping choose your keywords to
writing your copy and managing your key word bids.
Having said that, Pay-Per-Click
can be expensive. To make best use of your money, there
is quite a lot to be skillfully taken care of . . .
